Enjoy Time but Make the Most of It

While it is never too late to learn a skill some are better to acquire when you are younger rather than older. A case in point is dancing.

Why would it better to be able to do it when you are younger? When you are younger you are likely to be going to more parties and nights out with friends, or proms and balls.

It would be much more impressive if you could dance at all these events. When you’re older you probably have fewer of these nights out.

Some people though actually become rejuvenated as they get older and do many of the things people much younger than them are doing. If they learn to dance they can still have a lot of fun and catch up on the good times that they missed out on by not dancing over the years.

It’s never too late to learn a skill, but whenever possible start earlier and give yourself more time to enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Doing more natural types of workotus like body weight workouts can work wonders for your overall fitness. I’ve found that not only can you get into great shape, but you also get to provide your joints a little break from lifting heavy weights. One of my favorite exercises is the burpee. Overall, I think the “standard” burpee exercise is my favorite but you can make it harder or easier to suit your personal needs and to fit your overall fitness level.

When it comes to workouts though, none can seem to top the burpees for a mile workout … insane! The guy who did it decided to do burpess non-stop for an entire mile while his only forward progress was to jump forwards instead of straight up. I’m not sure how long it took him but I know I’d be basically dead after that!
